Touch 1 - Same day SMS
Hi [Name], it's [Tech] from [Business]. Your carpets are done and dry time is approximately [X] hours. Please avoid heavy foot traffic until then. Thanks again for having us out today.

Touch 2 - 48-hour review ask SMS
Hi [Name], hope the carpets are looking great. If you have a minute, would you mind leaving us a quick review? It helps a lot. [Review Link]

Touch 3 - 30-day residential rebooking SMS
Hi [Name], it's [Business]. Heavy traffic areas often start holding soil again around this point. Want to schedule a maintenance clean before it sets in? Reply YES and I'll send a link.

Touch 4 - 90-day commercial rebooking SMS
Hi [Name], we cleaned [Property] about 90 days ago. Most commercial carpets need another visit around this point to stay ahead of wear. Want to lock in the next date?

Objection handler: 'I'll call when I need you'

A practical response is not to argue. Remind the client that high-season slots disappear, and that carpets kept on a cycle usually cost less per visit because they do not need as much restorative work.

Example: 'Totally understand. The only thing worth knowing is that we usually book out [X] weeks in busy season, and routine maintenance visits are usually less expensive than waiting until the carpet needs a heavier treatment. If it works for you, I can check back in [timeframe].'

?FAQ: carpet cleaning follow-up

Should I ask for a review the same day?
Usually no. Same day is better for dry-time guidance and care tips. The review ask tends to perform better after the customer has seen the final result for a day or two.
Is a 30-day rebooking message too early?
Not for high-traffic residential homes. It is not a demand for a full deep clean every month; it is a prompt for maintenance before traffic lanes become a harder sale later.
How should commercial rebooking be framed?
Anchor it to appearance standards, traffic level, and maintenance cadence rather than a generic 'just checking in' message.
